The Stay at Home Project combines photography and digital illustrations for an up close look at the spaces around a Chicago apartment inhabited by small friendly figures.
This project is created to feel imaginative and playful, consisting of many tiny characters around the home. The characters in this piece represent ideas and creations, as they have been in the space for a long time, but most of them have never left. Some characters have accepted that this is where they are staying, some are wondering if they’ll get more attention, and some are demanding that they continue to grow.
My personal goal with this project is to rewire how I think about my creations, with the end goal of letting them out of the house.
